The graphic framework we developed for the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) is based on what comes to your mind first when you think of a port – the shipping containers. Today it is a symbol for transportation, goods and global trading. But how will the future change the idea of a port and with it the function of a container? What will it deliver to the people and the city? Will it swap from goods to culture?

Our client Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) is responsible for the development of the port’s infrastructure. Over the last year we worked closely together to present their intentions for 2040 to the world. Especially to politics, economy of the port and of course the Hamburg population.

Two publications – STRATEGIC VISION & OPERATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION – give us an idea of HPA’s concepts and intentions. Symbolic photography and geometric shapes playfully illustrate the vision of the future port.

The two high-quality books are accompanied by a landing page, social media assets and some OOH measures. In order to make the vision available to everyone, the plan has been created accessible.
